Winter Wanderings

So, I've been doing a fair bit of flying and general moving about this last few months. So, here is a general catch up/run down, with a few fun photos of the events at hand.

I secretly love taking pictures on air planes. Not sure why... just do :)

There was some play of Cribbage. At one point Tony got this hand, which is perfectly opposite of the best possible 29 hand. It's still a rather pretty hand :)

I rediscovered how awesome my nephew is (who is now walking!) :)

And so did Tony :)

Naturally, there was a frenzy of Christmas baking :) Pretty pies for all the people :)

I enjoyed a green Christmas, as per usual :) 

We had a bit of time to wander along to coast, which is always nice :)

Tony and I tasted all that Grandville Island Brewery has to offer :)

And I got to enjoy a bit of Vancouver's wonders. Here's a short video of the pretty view from Vancouver's Canada Line (metro) :)

And now we're back in Ottawa, one of the only cities in Canada south of 60 that seems to have any snow. I've taken to daily wanders in the snow in any temperature (like a proper Canadian, never being put off by  such trivial things as the weather!) :) 

Here are some of the pretty things I have stumbled across. As it turns out, it's quite pretty here... :)

There has also been adventures in cross country skiing, but I left my camera in the car (an subconscious effort to protect my camera from damage from falls, trees, snow, etc... I will override said subconscious actions next time, to be sure!) :)
