And so came the May Long Weekend of 2011. Tony and I rented a car to make good on the time and exercise a bit of freedom.
Mainly, we hit up some hiking areas: Frontenac Provincial Park and Parrott's Bay Conservation Area. Here's is some of what we came across.

Some local flora
The Trillium: provincial flower of Ontario
And in pink
Our path
Some rickety looking bridges
So green!
Some fauna
A turtle a bit far from the water and looking a might vulnerable...
The mischievous beaver
Tony doing an assortment of poses
Politely posing
The Canadian version of tight-rope walking
Taking photos and losing one's balance :)
And various pretty bodies of water the we came across
And the falling variety :)
All in all, it was a good weekend and nice to at long last have some sunny sunshine!
And there were no sunburns, despite our general pastiness! :)
